About Me

I have a lot of interests, but currently have trouble doing the active ones, like tennis and swimming. Other than that, I also enjoy languages, reading, travel, etc. I speak 4 languages. Regarding FM, my symptoms started early 2007, and I was diagnosed in Sept. 2007. I'm taking lyrica for pain and amitryptiline for sleep. I also have IBS, Grave's disease (in remission), and dry eyes. I'm a librarian but currently not working in that field.

Why I came to WebMD

When I started getting sick, I trusted WebMD and knew of the communities there. I needed support while I was being diagnosed, and now I have been!

Movies/TV: historic and comedy films; I don't watch much TV

Hobbies: none that I'm avid about; I dabble a bit in a variety
