Hello beginnings,

Welcome to our family. Welcome to EPLAND.

I would need a PDA. I believe the Best source of info about this matter would be your pharmacist. Also, ask if there is an AED that MITE word w/ ED's. How about alternatives? Creams, lotions, movie, toys? Sorry, if that is none of my business. Just common sense at my age.

As to recent research, I doubt it. ED meds haven't been around that long. The results, if any, would still be "maybe, maybe not." Especially since we tend to react different to AED's. Well, same holds for ED's. Didn't work for my DH. And HE wasn't on any other meds.

Check w/ the Science Daily & other sites above. If any research is going one of them will have info.

God Bless

Love Candi & family

I'm 39, and was first diagnosed as an epileptic when I was 2. I have been taking anti-epileptic meds of some form ever since. My current meds are carbamazapine and sodium valproate.

In the last year or so, I have started to become sexually active. However, I have noticed that i may have some symptoms of ED. I have read a study on the internet, that says that long term use of anti-epileptic drugs can cause ED. (By Michelle V. Lambert - titled "Seizures, hormones and sexuality")

My question is, how safe is it to take ED drugs in conjunction with anti-epileptic medication? Are there known interactions to be aware of? Has there been a study done comparing ED meds with people taking anti-epileptic medication?

Any first-hand accounts I'd like to hear from as well.
