Hi All: Here's some info on K2 from PubMed. I believe the RDA is 45 mg a day.

Or you could try Natto (fermented soy beans) and here's a link for that, also from NIH (PubMed). This is a required taste, so good luck. Some love it.

Not familiar with the Vit K2 for osteo, but will check. As for the calcium. Again, calcium is calcium. No better or worse. All depends on the invidividual's ability to absorb. Calcium citrate is bulkier but more readily absorbed for those who have gastric issues. Coral calcium is a gimmick. Even Tums is considered a calcium supplement. Just make sure you get the Vit D so the calcium goes to the bones. Sometimes it's trial and error to see what sits best with you.

I currently take a supplement that has the K2 in it. I've recently been seeing more studies citing the benefit of this for people with osteo issues.
