Hi every body I am new here and new to relizeing I am addicted to food.I am also Bi Polar and Agoraphobic..I have a chronic IBD and Diabetes and high blood pressure.I weigh 358lbs and I am female I am 52 year old grandma.I eat a lot of healthy food but I never feel content I am always looking for something to satisfy this hunger I also have lipomas all over my body they are fatty lumps but being big does not cause them i inherited them and they look awful there is no cure except lipo suction and that takes money And I do not have that I am under the care of a gastro dr. A family dr. and a mental health dr.I am pretty active around the house but I am constantly looking for something to eat every couple hrs.I have a colon problem where mine swells and I look really big.I have finally relized I am a food addict now where would I go for help do I tell all 3 drs. and see what they say.Or do I just sew my lips shut.Anybody got any ideas.? I also take antidepressants paxil and welbutrin and i just got off predisone (steroid) for my colon problem.And I also take diabetes med and colonapin for anxiety I feel like a ball of xmas lights all tangeled up.Well thats my story and thats all i got to say about that.They call me slippershoe nice to meet every body on here hope to get some good feed back.

Slippershoe,

I watched this video yesterday. I thought it might give you something to think about. The points I felt that the video made clear were.

1. You have to have a reason. I would imagine seeing your grandchildren grow might be one reason.

2. Support is a big plus.

3. Fasting doesn't work.

4. Some medical conditions will disappear as you lose the weight.
