small penis syndrome

I am wondering if any men here feel like they may be experiencing this or if any women here have been with a partner that is concerned or even obsessed with the thought that they have a small penis.

This article revealed some things that I have built up inside of me for some time and I think they are effecting my interaction with the opposite sex at least in some aspect. I know my size, at a little under 5 inches, is average based on the surveys I have found on the web, however I have always been very sensitive about the my size.

For me I have always been shy around women. I can't say that fact is because of my insecurity on penis size but I do feel like it has become more of an issue for me as I have matured. I have a high sex drive but I shy away from physical relationships more now than ever. maybe I am reading too much into the article but at the same time I think it does directly address something I have not been willing to confront without the help of this anonymous outlet.

If anyone has experience in this area I would be interested to here whar they think. Men who feel the way I do. Women who have dealt with men who feel this way. Or, anyone who has an opinion on this subject.

I have not been with a man who was insecure about his penis or obsessed with his size, but I see at least 2 posts a week here from men who are obsessed with being "small" even if they are the average 5 or 6 inches.

also, it just occured to me I have actually been with one man who DID have a small penis. But he didn't seem to be shy, concerned or embarressed about it.

My ex-husband was obsessed over his penis size. He was about 5" but was always talking about how it was too small. What made him a lousy lover had nothing to do with his penis size! How you treat a woman (with love and respect) plays a much greater role in what she thinks of you. My ex was always concerned about his pleasure and really didn't care about pleasing me. He had PE but he couldn't be bothered with foreplay or oral sex or hugging and kissing etc. I did not feel like I had any real intimacy with him and that I was like trash that he could throw away when he was done with me. I was married to him for 2.5 very long years. I have now been married to my 2nd husband for almost 15 years and he is nothing like my 1st husband.

My advice to you is to work on your shyness and be nice and respectful to a woman that you want to get to know. If you concentrate on getting to know her and what she likes, the rest just tends to fall into place!

Hello Donna, Well I would like to say if most women had the same way of thinking that you do alotta men that had this embarrising problem woulden't be so shy about it. I consider myself a nice guy that knows how to treat a woman with full respect but the few times I have dated the penis issue was what brought the relationship to a sudden halt since yeah, and not trying to sound sexist or anything, but most women I know seem to definatly judge men based on Penis size. It been so much of a problem for me even whan I was in high school I was too ashamed to even get involved in athletics since I diden't wanna get made fun of and have it spread around that I had a small penis but still, I wish I could meet more women like you that are understanding and not judge men based on penis size and rather how the man treats the woman he is with.

Lots of men are concerned about their penis size. Few women are concerned about their lover's penis size.

I understand fully what you are going through. It's embarrising for me as well at my age (29) and my penis, at least to me, is also very undersized 4 1/2 to 5 inches when erect) which causes me to shy away from women due to the woman not being very understanding and sensitive to this problem. I'm not sure what to do about it. I have seen those late night advertisments about those "magic" pills that supposedly add size to a guys penis but i haven't exactly been bold enough or trusting enough to put in an order, but I definatly undertsand how you feel on a topic such as this.

MJHenry, at 4 and a half inches you would be a little below average but certainly not "very undersized" as you put it. Please don't waste your money on those pills, there is no pill that will increase your size.

Thanks for responding Michael. Yes, you are experiencing the same thing I am and we appear to be the same size. As far as ways to increase size I've tried just about everything except surgery (which I wont do). The pills do nothing so don't waste your money like I did. I used a pump for a couple of years on a regular basis but there were never any permanent changes. I've also tried streching techniques called jelqing but of course those don't work either.

I don't think it matters so much how big a man penis is, as long as you both enjoy each other what's the difference.

For those who may be interested, there is surgical procedure for lengthening the penis but it is very expensive. The specialist goes in and cuts some muscle tissue at the base of the penis and allows it to be pulled out approximately 1". I don't believe I would go through that procedure personally as my wife says she is very satisfied with my 6". I would expect that it is avery painful experience but it has a high rate of success.
