Hello all, I have been vomiting yellow bile every morning for many weeks. I'm not pregnant. When I get out of bed every morning it hits me and then I start throwing up. In December I graduated college (summa, woo!), but I drank every day with friends. Now every morning I'm vomiting yellow bile. I never have an appetite, and half the time when I do feel hungry, I take one bite and can't eat any more. All the time I'm weak and tired, and it's making my fiance very concerned... especially the fact the minute I stand up out of bed, I stop, try to hold it back, then lean over the toilet. Finally, I also have a sudden, sharp abdomen pain and many times have stools a little more solid than diarrhea. Could it be my pancreas? I'm really scared.

Hasn't it occurred to you in the last several weeks that you need to see a doctor? Being scared isn't going to change anything. It's probably something treatable but you'll never know until you see a doctor.

I would like to know if you have found out why you were vomiting yellow bile. My mother has been doing this for months and has had every test imaginable and no answer yet. She throws up after getting out of bed about the same time every morning and every once in a while during the day. There is not much warning, just comes up in her throat. She is 84 and is getting very weak. I was told it could be caused by a parisite in the intestines. But surely the doctors would have found that during all the tests.

Hello,

I can't even believe that I found someone else who vomits bile every day!!! I have been living with this for SO long!!! I have seen so many Dr's and they seem to think prilosec is the answer, that it is "just acid reflux"!!!!! This is ruing my life, I have been late for work so many times, and I feel stupid telling them that I throw up 4-5 times a week....people look at me like I am crazy, like who throws up that much! It is really becoming a problem. I know the second I open my eyes, it actually wakes me up usually between 3-6 AM I run to the bathroom,, throw up this disgusting tasting yellow bile (sorry to be graphic) then when it finally stops, I am so tired, I fall right to sleep, usually right there on the bathroom floor.... my body is so tired, I just got married last Aug. and my husband is very concerned, he can't believe that no Dr. can help me?Have you found any answers?

I had a similar problem last week and a few times in the past (not regularly or on a daily basis).

My husband nagged me into going to the doctor and he thought it was either gall stones or appendicitis. I went for an ultrasound 3 days later and I have been confirmed as having gall stones and an inflammed gall bladder. I am now waiting to see a speciailist to see about an operation to remove my gall bladder.

In the interim I am on omperazol (to reduce acid stomach) and cocodamol for painkillers and been advised to avoid any fat intake.

Apparently women over 40 (I am 41) who are overwieght are more susceptible.

Hope this helps?

Almost every morning I wake, I am really nauseous and often I throw up yellow bile. It has been happening for 3 months now. I have been to doctors and I have done numerous tests. First time blood was taken, everything was normal. Second time it was taken my liver enzymes were slightly elevated so they ordered a repeat to double check and they were still slightly elevated but my CBC was fine. I am currently waiting for the last blood tests results they ordered. I have also had many stool samples taken and they haven't found anything in my stomach. I had an ultrasound and they only thing they found on that was an enlarged spleen. Then the GI doc had me drink barium and have a contrast CT scan. That showed my spleen was normal but that I was really constipated. Doctor had me do an enema and I am taking Benefiber and Acidophilus for that. I've been on Omeprazole (Prilosec) for 4 weeks now. I was supposed to have an endoscopy done today but after all of these other tests, I couldn't afford it so I had to cancel it (on top of all these medical problems, I just graduated college and got a job 5 hours away so I'm moving too). My stool is usually either diarrhea or really soft. I used to have abdominal pains but not so much anymore. The doctors have found nothing but I still feel sick. To help with the nausea, one of my doctors suggested I take motion sickness medications since the Phenergan they prescribed me makes me go to sleep and I can't take it while at work and such. I take Dramamine every morning to help with the nausea. I'm very sick and tired of being sick and tired. I worry a lot because I spend so much time thinking about whether I'm going to throw up or not. Anytime I'm in public, when I first arrive, I scout out where the bathrooms are or any trashcans along the way in case I need to throw up. I'm about to start my new job as a teacher and it's all really stressful on its own, without all of the medical problems. I'm just glad others have had similar problems with no answers... it makes me feel less alone.

am a 37 year old male and i am surprised to find others that vomit yellow bile too. people tell me that i just need to hold it because everyone has yellow bile to help them digest food. if i could hold in this nasty yellow bitter bile, i probably would, but it is such a relief to get it out of me. it sucks waking up in the morning and having heaves and then finally bile. i usually drink half a cup of water to help me. i have noticed that when i eat greasy foods like a nice burger say around 10PM the night before, by 6AM the next morning, i am vomiting this orange grease, followed by yellow bile. i have stopped eating so much fat, but now it happens when i have a bowl of cereal for my last meal. then when i don't eat at all, i still vomit bile. so i don't think its food related anymore. something is wrong with me. i have tried all the acid reducers/neutralizers too, but they don't really do anything for me. every doctor gives me the next up acid pill, prilosec, nexium, prevacid, zantac, protonix, others...

anyone else having this same thing going on and found an answer, please let me know. thank you, brad

Well, I have had the same problem for about 5 years and I had every imaginable test done and they all come back normal. It sucks just to wake up every morning to throw up like crazy that nasty weird tasting yellow bile. I have seen a lot of gastroenterologist and still no answer as to what is wrong with me. I went to see a dietician because they told me I needed to loose a couple of pounds and change my eating habits including no dairy, fats, meats, gluten, wheat, or soy and I did and still have the same problem. I really don't know what to do anymore. I have even thought about contacting a research institute to see if they will help me and others who suffer from the same problem. I'm almost out of hope of getting better and having a normal life like I had before . I have even asked about having my gallbladder removed but doctors says it is not necessary because that is not the root of my problem since my gallbladder its working properly and effectively. Can anyone please help. I'm desperate. I have been treated for IBS, Acid Reflux, Spastic Colon, Celiac Disease, Gastroparesis to see if it would help, but I don't even have any of those issues, doctor just don't know how to stop me from throwing up bile every morning. What should I do to help myself and others although I think I have done more than enough to find and answer.

I had the same problem. It suddenly went away. I believe it was related to one of the following three things - tension/stress, tea and alcohol. In my opinion, tension/stress was the primary contributor. Change in life style, yoga/meditation and just relaxation will do wonders. Eating healthy (lots of fresh veggies, water and fruits) can never hurt. Try changing your life style and relax. If you have what I had, your problem is gone now.

Hello!

From the symptoms you describe you probably have a condition related to your liver or your pancreas. You have also said you drank great quantities of alcohol during the last few days so this probably has caused or worsened the problem. My advice is to see a doctor right away. I do not wish to alarm you but you need to rule out a serious liver problem.

In the meantime I recommend you to drink lots of water and juices everyday. NO alcohol. And healthy foods such as lean meat, fresh fish, vegetables, fruit etc. Don't each fatty foods or eggs because these foods make cholesterol rise and cholesterol is processed in the liver, which makes your liver work harder.

best wishes, Anne

Stress is DEFINITELY the major contributor. After reading all of the previous posts...yours was the ONLY one to mention this all important factor.

Mine mainly acts up when I have been in highly stressful situations for a few days.

I rarely drink alcohol, don't drink a lot of soda, stopped drinking even TEA about six months ago - due to the caffeine giving me headaches. I DO eat a lot of fatty foods, but that doesn't seem to affect it. Sometimes, I can have a very healthy, veggie meal and the next morning it will still happen. And, it doesn't happen on a regular basis - but once every week or two, it does...and it seems to correspond with my stressful times...so, I'm going with this one.

Reading all the posts, on this topic, that old phrase, "Misery loves company", sadly came to mind. I, too, am one who takes part in the, almost, daily ritual of running to the bathroom and vomiting vile bile. The bile can't get out fast enough, it seems, so I projectile it out. This results in my bladder emptying at the same time. So, while running, I am removing any bottom clothing, grabbing paper towels, pulling my hair back in a clip - all at the same time. Right before I vomit, my stomach feels like someone has punched me, repeatedly, in it. Once I am done, my stomach feels much better. I have noticed that this happens after I have slept for awhile. Including naps. I have tried sleeping sitting up, reclining as well as flat. Flat on my left side, right side and back. Like many of you, I have tried various diet changes and spoken to doctors. Unlike many of you, perhaps, I know that I do suffer from several major illnesses that include my liver. Among them, Hep C and Hemochromatosis (An overabundance of iron. Like an anemic, I suffer from severe fatigue, too.) It is disheartening to see so many folks experiencing this same problem and no one, not a single person, finding any answers regardless of where you live and how many doctors seen. Anne, the first year med student, seems to have come the closest. Doesn't surprise me as the newer doctors, and those in training, are learning the most up to date stuff. I am going to continue to monitor this site in hopes that someone WILL find an answer, a doctor, that can help all of us. In the meantime, I will think of all of you, and know I am not alone, every morning - and after every nap. My prayers are for all of us. Nightgardner

I have also had a similar problem. Although I don't wish this on anyone, I'm also relieved to see I'm not the only one. I've been vomiting almost daily for over 6 months. Its almost always within 15 minutes of getting up although I've also had instances where I've vomited before bed or during the middle of the night. Its most frequently clear and sometimes foamy and I just assumed it was mucus. Sometimes it is yellow bile. The vomiting is accompanied by full body retching. Last month I had pains in my left side going down to my lower left abdomen. Yesterday the pain started in my right lower abdomen. My Dr seems convinced it isnt mucus. I had blood work done and all was normal except for the sed rate which shows an inflammation somewhere in my body. I tried allergy meds (because I suffer from a nasal drip), ginger tea, pepto bismol. When the pain started on the left, my Dr said "oh, you have diverticulitis" He put me on antibiotics and said I needed a colonoscopy. The meds didn't work and now the pain is also on the right so I dont think its diverticulitis. I have no insurance either. I am so tired of being sick. Even though I feel better almost immediately after throwing up, its physically exhausting. I just want it to end. I have another follow scheduled for 10/28 so maybe I can get some kind of answer . . . Oh, one funny thing I noticed, I never seem to vomit on Sundays and Saturdays are rare as well. I was thinking it could be work related stress . . .

It is so amazing to hear that I am not alone. This started for me my freshman year in college, and I am now a junior. When this first started my mother was convinced I was pregnant. After about 20 pregnancy tests, and 6 months of this, she realized something was seriously wrong. I have been to a stomach doctor repeatedly and had endoscopies, countless tests, and even a gallbladder removal. Nothing worked. They tried putting me on acid reflux medication, but it didn't work either. It only happens to me if I have to wake up for an early class. If it's a weekend or something and I can sleep in, I'm fine. But if I have an 8 am class, I wake up and throw up yellow bile for at least 20 minutes. It's such a hard thing to describe to people! No one understands. My stomach doctor finally told me he thinks I have cyclic vomiting, but I'm not satisfied with that answer. There has to be some sort of a cure out there. I can't imagine hugging the toilet for the rest of my life. Please let me know if anyone finds a diagnosis.

I have had this same problem several times and found a partial solution!!!

It was STRESS related, thats why no test could work out what was wrong, mine got worse when i went to the doctor as they couldnt find the problem, eventually I was crying everyday and went to a councillor, she diagnosed severe stress.

When you get very stressed your body releases adrenalin, which upsets your stomach, which causes more stress and so on until you throw up nothing but bile.

Try a copy of SELF HELP FOR YOUR NERVES by Dr claire weeks, this explains it brilliantly.

Understandding it does help you stopping being stressed by the problem, but you still need to get to the origional cause of the stress.

Hi there, I had a big problem with vomiting and bloody diarrhea and found out that I had gastritis, colitis and dehydration. It's a shame doctors today don't spend more time trying to find out the cause of these problems and typically just write you a prescription to get you to stop asking them questions. Or just leave you wondering, "will I ever find an answer?." As a wellness professional, I can say one of your best bets is to research your condition as much as possible yourself. Record your diet and how you feel. Find out if there are foods that trigger your problem. Keep a journal of when you vomit, what you were doing, what you ate, and how you were feeling beforehand (are you stressed?). Often the fear of not knowing what is going on with your body can make you even more stressed and depressed and when no one seems to offer help or care it can make your condition worsen. Just don't wait until you are in dire straights and need to go to the emergency room for people to finally care. That's what happened to me and I was looking for answers the entire time before that with no help. All I am saying is don't give up. Switch doctors if you have to. But do the research yourself and be armed with a journal to show that you are tracking and trying to resolve. Don't let the doctors just brush you off. Wikipedia actually had some good information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vomiting

From my own account: Gastritis feels like a burning irritation just below your ribcage. (Medication is what helps get rid of this but your eating habits can also make a difference) It will make you vomit - typically right after eating but if nothing is in your stomach, you will vomit bile.

More tips! http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/gastritis-000067.htm The cure for gastritis caused by ingesting irritating substances is to stop the long-term use of these substances, which may include:

Alcohol. Tobacco. Acidic beverages such as coffee (both caffeinated and decaffeinated), carbonated beverages, and fruit juices with citric acid. NSAIDS, such as aspirin and ibuprofen -- switch to other pain relievers (like acetominophen) Eat a fiber-rich diet. Foods containing flavonoids, like apples, celery, cranberries (including cranberry juice), onions, garlic, and tea may inhibit the growth of H. pylori. Avoid high fat foods (at least from animal studies, high fat foods increase inflammation in the stomach lining).

Acid reflux feels sort of like a lump at the base of your throat and also can have a burning feeling in the upper chest. You may also belch a lot and feel worse when lying down. Try elevating your head when sleeping and be sure not to eat food right before you lie down. Medication like Nexium is often prescribed. I hope this helps someone! I know that living with a chronic problem is not fun but if we all stick together and help one another find the cause, maybe we can make a change! Whatever you do, don't settle for mediocre healthcare.

I throw up yellow bile the morning after a night of drinking and smoking. I THINK IT IS MY BODY REJECTING POISON. Anne was right about saying we should be eating right. It sounds to me that we aren't taking care of our bodies. We might also have a liver problem or a digestion problem. Good to know I am not alone.

Hi just came from another forum and there was at least 7 pages of people discussing the same thing. It's an epidemic when you have that many people of all ages, 13 - 80 something, nauseated, throwing up, every morning.

I do it too, my stomach feels horrible, until I have to throw up and it's a yellow mucus substance. I've been doing it every once and a while for years. Usually 15 minutes to 1/2 an hour after a wake up. Usually after I take my hypothyroid hormone with water.

Then afterward, I just feel awful and do not want to drink or eat. I know what can't be good either. So, I'm not entirely sure what's going on the prilosec has helped a little bit but, no cure. It always come back.

So, I figure, I'll post this in hopes that if they see more and more people having this problem, some serious investigating will happen.

A couple of years ago this used to happen to me almost daily. Every morning around 2-3 AM I would wake up sick to my stomach, and barely make it to the bathroom in time to start throwing up yellow bile. This went on for months and I had no idea what was wrong with me.

I don't know if it's related or not, but it was finally discovered that I had a large ovarian cyst. I was put on an oral contraceptive to resolve the cyst and prevent future cysts from forming... and the vomiting stopped. Within a week or so of starting the pill I stopped waking up in the morning throwing up, and I have been on the pill for the past 6 years and have yet to have another episode of yellow bile vomiting.

My theory is that stress probably played a huge part in the vomiting. I was very stressed out during that period of time, and my body was under stress from the wild hormone fluctuations that were causing my ovarian cysts (not to mention general stress from the pain of the cyst). I think this combination of mental and physical stress is probably what caused my vomiting, because once the physical stress was resolved (taking the birth control to normalize my hormones and dissolve the cyst, ending the pain) I became much more mentally at ease (finally knew what was causing me so much pain and menstrual irregularity). So I think it may have been a combination of the hormones stabilizing and my mental state improving that stopped the vomiting.

It may be a stretch, but it might also be something to look into. I was also having sharp abdominal pains in my lower abdomen, which ended up being the cyst, so if you haven't been seen by a gynecologist then you may want to just to rule out cysts/hormonal imbalances as a potential source of the problem.

Hello. I would like to know the answer to this as well. I have a 4 year old son who at vomits at least one a day EVERY day! I have asked his doctor about it several times but she just kinda blew it off and said don't worry and that it was probably just caused by his impulse. My has a couple disorders and one is ADHD impulsive type. This used to just happen during the day if he ate too much or after he was running around alot. A few months ago he started coughing until he vomited every morning. He would always flush the toilet before anyone could anything so I never knew it was bile until about a week ago. So far I have only heard of this happening to adults so if anyone has any real reason for this happening please let me know.. The poor kid has enough problems without needing anything else added..

Thank you all, Lynne

I, as a kid, always threw up. I learned to catch it in my mouth (I was made fun of for it at home. This was something that was looked at as a way to make fun of me and to entertain others), then a couple years ago it was really bad where it was in the morning. Similar to what everyone else has said. I couldn't control it and it just came out. It was awful because once I saw or smelled it I wanted to throw up even more (gross). After I became weak and wrapped around the toilet bowl I eventually got up when I recovered and felt I wouldn't throw up. I was afraid to go very far for fear of being stuck somewhere throwing up. I noticed I got hot with sweat and eventually cold. Not fun. I now have learned to not throw up like that. Every now and then throughout the day I throw up in my mouth. I have other physical problems that are much worse than just throwing up (to me). I have kept a log of foods, smell, times and dates of anything thing and everything. I am 22 now and I never had involved parents and I have no health insurance or the money. I figure If I can pinpoint what may be the problem I can mention which tests to start at and I can avoid spending alot of money that I am not able to spend!

Does anyone get like hot flashes (face heat is really bothersome), see a white light (white out) and get very dizzy/weak, fluctuations of uncontrollable bad smelling (poo like) body odor, crazy sharp pain. I notice a problem with dairy and meat. As a kid and even now I am always thirsty. I notice when I take a zinc pill the smell goes a way temporarily. I have pretty much changed my habits and life to avoid a lot of this but I can not get rid of this smell! I can't put my finger on if it is the smell or a chemical problem that effects/alters my mood.

I'm at a brick wall and at the age where I can not avoid normal life habits but I can not join in either. This is a real blow to my schooling (I still learn just fine ), career, relationships, and things like going to a movie or the store. There are other pieces of the puzzle from the past but I can be for sure about them. Like I remember people mentioning a smell and saying things to me as a kid, but as a kid I was interested in being just that. I had people making fun of me at home so at school it was easy to ignore and deflect. I can't for sure pinpoint the start of the smell which is very disappointing in many ways. I know at one point doctors mentioned taking out my gallbladder, appendix and something else and I got scared because I didn't think they knew what they were doing. They were not talking to me, forgot to give me a drink and put me through a x-ray machine too many times because they kept forgetting things, and it sounded like they didn't know what they were doing. It scared me and I left the hospital a couple nights later.

Between my experience as a patient and being a witness to the approach of a friend's nurse practitioner and the nurse telling us the opposite of the N.P. while the N.P. left us for an hour to look it up on the Internet! Then the N.P. sent her to get the wrong blood tests done and then was hassled to get the correct ones. No insurance and she just spent $ on the wrong tests so she wasn't able to do it right away. Needless to say I'm very afraid of Doctors at this point.

I have had the same issues for approx the last 4 years. I do not vomit every day but it averages out to about 4 days a week. I drink occasionally, smoke occasionally (couple cigarettes a month). There have been no patterns with food or drinking. The only pattern that was apparent is stress. Periods of major stress have increased instances of the vomiting. I have had just about every test done and nothing is coming up. I am on protonix but that doesn't really help. Last week I became sick, I vomited and had severe pain just below my sternum. I went to the ER and found out that I had gall stones and my liver was enlarged. (After having my gallbladder checked 3 times with tests coming back as normal). I had my gallbladder removed and I have not had any vomiting as of yet. The Dr that did the surgery thinks that this indeed likely caused my problems in the past and they should now go away. I guess time will tell.

Ok this may not be what is the problem with every one of the posters on this thread, but it very well may be STRESS... I have the same problem! I began to notice it was stress related when I noticed that on Saturdays and Sundays I magically would wake up feeling perfectly fine. Once monday morning rolled around, the vomiting yellow bile was back. It was like a clock for me. I finally went to a shrink and was diagnosed with panic-disorder(that one i question because never had a panic attack) ,gad, and mild depression. I had a very stressful job, and my anxiety problems made it all the worse. I really recommend for those of you that have already been to a doc and the test results came back ok, to consider stress as the culprit. I was put on clonazepam aka klonopin, and ever since then I practically never wake up feeling that way, even during the week. I have noticed however, if I am having a particularly extra-stressful event in my life , I tend to wake up feeling like I want to throw up.. In my case it is stress all the way.

What you describe happened to me exactly, Last week (it was a Wednesday) I puked bile for the first time in like years. The last time it happened was about 3 years ago. Apologies for being too descriptive, but it was yellow and not much of it, and I was retching like anything. My abs got a damn good workout Anyway, I felt fine afterwards. Then yday I had the same feeling again, but also felt wheezy (I used to be asthmatic when I was younger). But somehow I wasn't physically sick. This morning I was, and it was just sudden. Same yellowy stuff. But as soon as I had vomited I felt somewhat fine. I dont feel as hungry nowadays bc of that, but in the evenings i have a normal appetite. And as you described wd1976, it happens on a weekday. On the weekends i seem fine. I do get panic attacks sometimes, but not that serious. I cannot help but think this is due to anxiety and stress. This also expalins why I am feeling wheezy. The wheeziness is triggered by stress. It all makes sense!

However, I just got off antidepressants that i was taking for anxiety about 6 months ago. I don't want to go back on them. Whilst i was taking them i was absolutely fine. I even gained weight (I'm pretty slim normally). So far it's only happened last Wednesday and today. I do have this thing about fear of the unknown. i suddenly get all anxious and that triggers the whole chain reaction. Has anyone else had a similar experience to me? Does yoga help?

I guess the best thing to do is try and relax, but that is easier said than done for most of us.

I posted a message earlier relating to bile vomiting but forget to mention, I also get panic attacks (not severe) as well. I also feel that it is a contributing factor to vomiting in the morning, especially if you're getting up for work or maybe you have a full day ahead and you'd rather sleep in a little bit to avoid vomiting.

Something I've noticed with Clonazepam aka Klonopin from my father, who was prescribed it 25 years ago, before they knew your body could develop an addiction to it, is not always the best alternative for anxiety. After almost 20 years of taking this medication, in his small dosage he took daily, if he missed 3-4 days without taking any (meaning 3-4 pills), he would become really sick. He has recently switched to a non-addictive anxiety medication which gives him the choice in skipping a day or two if he feels he doesn't need it, if no anxiety or stress. Also, he didn't switch right away, his doctor slowly weened him off of Klonopin to prevent any anxiety attacks and/or seizures from occurring. For the short term Klonopin, I think is alright, but it if taken for a long period of time (years), it can create anxiety and or seizures if stopped immediately.

Hi. It is amazing to find others with the exact same disposition as i do in the morning! thank god!

too vomit bile in the morning, almost every morning for years. i thought i had something really wrong with me until i started college in a pre-med degree. this is not to say that something isn't wrong, but i now understand what is occurring. in the morning, just before the sleep pattern ends and the waking pattern begins hormonally in all of us, your liver will start to produce bile as a product of the waking cycle. I am going to explain this simply. some of us begin our waking cycle earlier than others and with the release of greater amounts of hormones (cortisol) than others and this is normal. I am assuming that it is due to this release of hormones telling the liver to prepare for the day during the waking cycle of the body that the over production of bile occurs. I have research many types of medicine including natural medicine and alternative therapies for 4 years and currently hold a bachelors degree in integrated therapeutic practices so i can say that from what i have researched lemon water in the morning can help.

yes, it is that simple. a warm small cup of water with fresh lemon squeezed into it. you just sip it slowly. the lemon acts a a bile relaxer and aids in the digestion of bile. maybe if you feel sick at the moment of waking try to drink this before bed and see if that helps. i have had this same disorder for many years and had gotten to the point of white bile instead of strong yellow bile, and now, with the aid of lemon water, it is a thing of the past and only occurs when i wake suddenly without my water at hand.

really hope this helps. sometimes the answer is simple, understandable, and an easy fix that nature has already provided. good luck. anita

To me it sounds like your gallbladder...I have had the same issue for 6 years (yes six full years)... I had my gallbladder removed in october and had the same issue for about a month...but once my body adjusted to not having a gallbladder the nausea and vomiting stop...also since its mainly in the morning when you get out of bed they should look at your inner ear...you could have an inner ear infection or meniere's disease (its an issue with balance)...just food for thought!

P.S.-I had to fight the fact that it was my gallbladder...I didn't have stones so the ultrasound did no good. My gallbladder simply did not work at all and once the surgeon took it out he asked me if I had been having issues for a long time...I said yes...and he said by the looks of my gallbladder he could tell.

Hello, I'm surprised many people have the same issue in the morning. For myself, it started a few years ago, I used to drink coffee every morning and used to smoke cigarettes. The coffee would give me stomach pains, not every morning but most of the time. I thought this was normal and continued drinking a cup every day which increased some days where I would have 2 or 3. I also don't drink alcohol, I might have 1 or 2 drinks on the holidays, but my stomach almost always rejects it. I quit smoking and drinking coffee (and mostly anything with caffeine) a year ago. This has helped, but I still vomit. Not every day though, only if I wake up really early still feeling pretty tired. Then, this yellow bile will disturb my mornings. I try to mix up my work schedule so I don't have to wake up early every day, but this is also inconvenient. I am in my early 20's, I also have a problem gaining weight, my metabolism is very fast I can't keep up with it over night. I have a Huge appetite which is also weird that I cannot gain anything. I sometimes eat small meals or drink a glass of milk before bed to comfort the acid in my stomach and keep my stomach full for a few hours, it has helped a little bit. Every morning no matter how much food I ate the night before, even if I ate right before bed, it is completely digested the next morning and I'm already starving. Mostly, it's to the point where I can't eat right away, but usually within a half hour or more. I've also noticed that on the mornings where I vomit, most of the time I wake up feeling my temperature is very hot near my stomach and I feel sweaty and uncomfortable, I believe that maybe my stomach (and my body) is overheating for a long period of time and that might be a part of why I am vomiting. This might not be true, but the combination is questioning. I haven't had any special tests done, thinking this was normal because my father told me he vomits every morning and he has a fast metabolism as well. I would like to find out more information, it would be a joy to be able to wake up early and not feel sick.
