Hi, I had a laparoscopy done a little over two weeks ago, to remove some blockage from my left falopian tube which was detected thru and HSG. My husband and I have been trying since Dec 2007, and the Dr did not specify that we could not try prior to the surgery, however I was ovulating in that time frame. If I did conceive before the surgery, would the laparoscopy done and damage? I was told that there would be some discharge afterwards which there was about a week later, however I should have received my period on Sun Oct 26/08, and didn't? Is there a possibility I could be pregnant, or did having the surgery just alter my system?

Have you taken a test yet? If you did indeed ovulate when you were supposed to, then yes, there is a possibility. That said, if it is negative, then chances are the surgery just pushed ovulation back this cycle.

I had taken a test on day 2 which was supposed to be my period, I didn't really get a period, and it was negative. I know some women spot or have abnormal period so just not sure if this is side affects from the surgery.
